Pissing Off Hot Dog

Last chapter we met Hot Dog, the first baby of generation two.  Grape is about to give birth to her second baby, and she's thrilled about having to do it at home.

"Yay!  It's a girl!  I get 5,000 happiness points!"

Meet ToMOOto!  She's friendly, and likes rap music, fruit parfait, and the color lime.

While Grape was having their baby, Chris was busy doing this,

"Someone needs to fix the tv."

Tv's not getting fixed.  I'm not risking Grape's life over it.

"So now what am I supposed to do for fun?"

You could fish in the pond I finally put in the front yard.

"Nah."

Well, there's one other option we can afford.

"You're kidding!"

Nope, have a blast!!  My only regret about the bookshelf is that it won't raise his cooking skill.  At least he'd watch the cooking channel on the tv.  My sims never autonomously read skill books.

"Hmmm, I rang the doorbell 2 seconds ago and no one answered."

"Guess no one's home.  Later!"

Ah, the "ring and run", an oldie but goodie.  See if I hold Grape back anymore, Sheldon.

The Amadeus' have a full house, but at least the child-parent ratio is even.

"**Nomnomnomnom**  This thing is nummy!"

"I'm glad you like it, HD, but you're supposed to hit the little colored bars, not chew on it."

"That doesn't sound nearly as nummy."

Sometimes all the attentive parenting doesn't work out so well for me.

You gonna throw that trash away?

"Nope, I've got other things to do."

"Pzzzzzzzzzzzzzt"

Yes, I suppose zerberts are important, too.

"It's my birthday!!"

I can't believe she's aging up first.  She and Chris should have started out the same age and she's had two pregnancies.

"Well at least I don't look any different."

Yeah, I'd stay away from the mirror if I were you.

Next morning,

"Why is this lady from the Sims 1 in my front yard?"

I think the two cakes give it away.  Double birthday!

ToMOOto goes first.

"AH!!  Get away!  GET AWAY!!"

She got Grape's purple eyes!  Yay!  I was hoping at least one of the kids would get them.

HD is next.

"YEAH!!  I look awesome!!"

You're not done yet, dude.

He rolled dog person.

"Can we get a dog?"

Wish for one if you make torchholder and sure. He didn't waste any time in the making friends department.

"Look Lady, Egyptian music has more variety, depth, and emotional resonance than your pop music will EVER have!  I don't care if I've never heard a note of either, I know what I'm talking about!!"

"Whoa little guy, I only asked if y'all have a radio, didn't mean to start anything."

He's a charmer.  On another note (heh, see what I did there?) how adorable is that suit?  They can't afford a dresser yet, so maybe HD will get clothes in his favorite color when he's a teen.

Chris had his birthday behind the restaurant after work.

Don't feel bad for him, he had a wee little turtle to celebrate with him.

"Happy Birthday!  Do you have any veggies?"

"Whatcha' lookin' at Mommy?  BLARGHARGHLALALALALALALALALA!!"

"You're gonna have another little brother or sister, Hot Dog!!"

"Outta here!!"

Damn it, Chris!  What are you doing?

"What?  My ride's here.  Time to go to work."

"Who left the food next to Can?  You have to put in Can's mouth!  He can't eat it if it's next to him, he doesn't have ARMS!!"

It sounds crazy but it does explain why the street can never needs to be emptied.

"How STUPID do you have to be to not know that?  Poo for brains."

Just a little "why I love HD" montage.

"Oh this is horrific!"

"I don't know how anyone can stand the stench."

"I have to do everything around here!"

In your formal, even.  Like my little butler.

"No sweetie, you have to hit it like this."

"Lay off, Mama!  I got 'dis!!"

"OWWW!!"

"Told 'ya."

Next morning,

"Oh the humanity!!  My childhood innocence, it is gone!!"

"Hot Dog, Mommy loves you, but MOMMY IS HAVING A BABY!  YOUR INNOCENCE IS JUST FINE, SHUT YOUR DAMN HOLE!"

"I see how it is around here.  I'm running away!!"

He's going to school.

"Where is my husband??"

ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz  *dreams about wife stabbing him to death for reasons unknown to him*

"Oh god, please tell me that I don't actually live in this dump. *eye twitch*"

Meet Pancake, named after his in-the-doghouse father's favorite food. Pancake is grumpy (just a reminder that all of my babies are insane, if I can't choose a trait at their birth, I roll a die to see which trait gets changed to insane in MC).

"I'm having baby thoughts of inexplicable origin."

Look who just caught up, sort of!

"She named you Pancake??  I'm so sorry, little guy."

"Whatever, Pops.  Thanks for sleeping through my birth."

"Honey, I am so sorry I slept through our son's birth.  Next time PLEASE wake me up!  I really do want to be there."

"Ha-ha!  'Next time.'  That's cute, Christopher."

Seriously.  No "next time", dude.  Three kids works for me.

"Tell me, again, why we don't have a tv."

"The first tv broke.  The simgod says I can't fix it because I might die and prematurely end the legacy, and we can't afford a new one so we got a book shelf instead."

"I think you should ignore the simgod and go fix the tv, Mama."

"I can't sweetie, no repairs on autonomy, and we sold the tv anyway."

"Do a good job on your homework, sweetie.  I need you to get a high-paying career so we can move to a better neighborhood."

"I AM Mom.  I want to get out of this dumpy house, too.  I'm always cleanin' up after everybody."

"Well clean up your attitude while you're at it.  There's no need to roll your eyes at your mother, it's poor manners."

"Yes, MOTHER."

"That's much better."

What 'cha doin?

"Nothing, I just got a feeling that I should really check under here."

Under your parents' bed?

"Hello, little boy.  **slurp slurp, smack smack**"

Find anything?

"Nope, nothing, not a thing."

"What?  You don't believe me?"

I never said that.

"LOOK, I said I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING, OKAY?? What's with the third degree??"

We're just gonna move on.

"NOBODY LISTENS TO ME!!  IT'S LIKE I'M TALKING TO MY DAMN SELF OVER HERE.  I AM SO SICK OF THIS HOUSE AND EVERYONE'S BULLSHIT!!  WHEN I SAY I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING, I MEAN....."

*forcibly jerks camera away*

HD dealt with his frustration by throwing a raucous feast in the treehouse that Grape just HAD to buy.
